In this era of beleaguered consumers who have grown weary of trite commercialism, Nicholas is the antidote. He was born to the film industry and came up through the ranks as a photographer. As a director, he makes his mark with with strong visual storytelling that's rooted in honest performances. Thus, Nicholas tries to steer projects one of two directions at all times — either honest and cinematic or consciously commercial. Both avenues have their place, and the audience never feels like they are being pandered to. To increase his own level of authenticity, Nicholas recently moved from Los Angeles to Austin where he now resides with his wonderful chef of a wife Hannah and their two Silver Labs. Giddy up.
