DetailsAaron tried out nearly every job on a film set before falling prey to the siren song of directing. It’s this ability to jump in at any stage of the game that has helped propel his branded content career. He has also directed music videos, commercials, web series, and documentaries. Over the years, Aaron has honed the special skill set needed to pull off a multi-tiered experiential campaign with video tie-ins across social media platforms. He excels at working with a creative team early in the process to shape the message, the live action experience, and pull in all the pieces needed to make the project a living, breathing success in real time and on film.

Details: Austin-based, Annie has made the successful transition from Elementary School Teacher/Photographer to Director. Her former life can still be found in her collaborative and creative spirit, and in her ability to connect with children for the camera. Working in close collaboration with DP partner Peter Simonite, she brings sensitivity and a refined aesthetic for imagery and emotion to all that she creates. Her work will make you believe in magic.

Recognition: “Postcard From 1952” by Explosions in The Sky has garnered over 15 different music video and indie awards; Annie’s still photography has been featured in one-woman shows and on Voxtrot album covers.

DetailsBased in Brooklyn, NY, Brandon has logged ten years so far creating branded video content. He was Branded Content before Branded Content was cool. As a trailblazer in the field, Brandon has experience at every stage of the process from strategy through production and distribution. He has traveled from Tanzania to the Philippines, Hungary to Denmark, and to every corner of United States shooting commercials and digital content for the world’s biggest brands. 

At this point in his life, Brandon is interested in more than just creating compelling video productions. He’s at his most electric when he can strategize on how those videos fit into a broader integrated marketing campaign. He is excited and inspired by the way emerging apps and social media platforms introduce previously unimagined ways to communicate with an audience.

He was off to an auspicious start when his Ryerson Film School thesis short premiered at the New York Independent Film Festival, and he’s been going strong ever since. He began his career writing commercial treatments for feature directors who then mentored him in the art of conceptualizing a story and bringing it to life on the shoot. He quickly found his own voice and now shoots commercials that are characterized by impeccable framing, absurdist comedy, and quirky characters all rooted in realistic spaces. He is a big brand darling and has recently expanded his work into the realm of shooting celebrities, who appreciate his relaxed vibe on set. The biggest testament to Nic’s talent and work ethic is the number of clients who request to work with him again.

BIOGRAPHY

In this era of beleaguered consumers who have grown weary of trite commercialism, Nicholas is the antidote. He was born to the film industry and came up through the ranks as a photographer. As a director, he makes his mark with with strong visual storytelling that's rooted in honest performances. Thus, Nicholas tries to steer projects one of two directions at all times — either honest and cinematic or consciously commercial. Both avenues have their place, and the audience never feels like they are being pandered to. To increase his own level of authenticity, Nicholas recently moved from Los Angeles to Austin where he now resides with his wonderful chef of a wife Hannah and their two Silver Labs. Giddy up.
