Director / Composer Bennett Barbakow makes his home in sunny Los Angeles, CA. From that dire wasteland of surf and sun, he tackles projects of all sizes and shapes: commercials, music videos, film, comedy series, documentaries and interactive installations. Always on the forefront of that next best way to communicate, Bennett created IFC's first digital series "Getting Away with Murder," as well as Sony's first digital series, "Hot Hot Los Angeles," alongside numerous digital and branded series for Participant Media, Crackle, and Youtube. His films have toured local and international film festivals, winning awards and honors for both live action and animated works. This award-winning level of care and craftsmanship is evident in every commercial he makes. When not obsessing over film and music Bennett's favorite way to pass the day include jogging, snowboarding and cooking. Life is rough.
